Our day 1

And ....

Here we go!!!!

It's amazing how in control our mind can be if we allow it ....

We've been at this "homeschooling" game since Eva was 3 ...

But I let my fears cloud the vision ...

Which drown my inner voice ...

And filled my thoughts with unnecessary noise ...

The moment ....

I took a deep breathe ....

Handed over the wheel ...

The noise subsided ...

And MAN...

The excitement ...

The new ideas...

The VISION ...

Just POURED IN ....

I am beyond thrilled for this journey ....

That for whatever reason just feels so much more official now ...

The curriculum I'm putting together ....

It's going to be the most fun ....

And in an environment I can control ...

On our schedule ...

And in our own special way ...

We will do school work daily and also do a daily life lesson ....

{ Shoe tying ....weed pulling ....Laundry...dusting...knife cutting...making a fire...starting the grill .... Road signs ...life safety ... Organizing... Giving back ...the ever evolving list of life)

What a freaking blessing this is ...

{Is it okay to use freaking and blessing in the same sentence?! }

Today while the littles are at mima and pipos I'll be putting together our calendar for the month ...

And each month one day a week I'll prepare for the next ...

This way I can gauge the areas we have mastered...

And what needs more attention...

I also found a network of homeschoolers to join on biweekly field trips!

We were shooting to start Friday ...

But we just couldn't wait ...

We are prepping for life ....

And not just tests over here...

Thank you Lord for putting so much trust in me ...

To mold our children in a way that helps fulfill their purpose here ....
